After a spring that left us wondering if the course would ever open, dry weather finally arrived, and a spectacular golf season lasted until mid- November. We hope you enjoyed Culbertson Hills in 2022 and look forward to another great year in 2023.
2022 was a unique golf season….again! 2020….COVID and everything it forced us to deal with…being shut-down, masking, tournaments cancelling, checking customers in through a window, outside banquets or food to- go, single cart mandates, etc. 2021….more of the same, but add supply-chain issues and rising costs across the board. 2022….even more of the above mentioned…with rising inflation…AND a very limited work force! We feel compelled to publicly express our appreciation to our limited staff who were so instrumental in helping us provide you with the best possible product and experience in a very challenging time. And, thank you all for your continuing support of Culbertson Hills. We are very appreciative!!
With a little luck, we were able to purchase a few pieces of essential equipment at the end of 2022. It was a two-year search which resulted in the acquisition of a greens mower, fairway mower, as well as a few other mowers which will make our job of maintaining the course a much easier task. In other “course news”, we were also able to out-source the aeration of all greens in mid-October…an essential process in maintaining quality putting surfaces. We are looking forward to 2023!
In 2022 prices for daily greens fee, tournaments and carts increased slightly. Prices for season golf passes are increasing in 2023 for the first time in a decade. Please see attached rate sheet for details.
As the holiday season approaches, we wish everyone a safe, healthy, and joyful Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year!
